Ok, so yesterday I was getting ready to take a long drive to buy some pellets north of me. Just happened to stop at TV for something else and YIKES there is 4 pallets of Premier Pellets from canada sitting there . These come from Premier Pellet corp in Montreal Quebec , same company that makes Fireside Ultras which I have been looking for . Anyway , I felt like a pellet whore or something , I bought 15 bags and then went back for 10 more. I am going to try a bag today as soon as I burn out whats in the hopper. If they are any good I will go back for another 20 bags . Oh yeah 6.50 a bag , so not the best deal. So , anyone have any luck with these Premier Pellets?

Mmmmmmmmmmmm..... "Pellet whore"!!! That sounds a lot kinkier than "Pellet pig"!!!

I've never paid for it.

Honestly at 6.50 a bag I feel like I walked in and out the door bent over holding by ankles . Maybe I will rename TV , "Bendovers"
BTW just loaded a bag , they look good and seem to be burning a lot cleaner than the rocky mountain ones that were leaving a bad black soot everywhere
no matter how I set the damper. These canadian ones leave a nice brown ash . Brown as in ..."Bendovers"

nice...thanks for the info, I didn't know they were sold under that other name also....got to let you go, before I get kicked of for posting the thread about invdading canada for pellets, and making the amish work in sweat shops......

Up here in the Adirondack part of New York, $6.50 a bag is not bad. I see them selling around here for $7.50 a bag (NOT delivered) !! The five tons I got last May (which I am burning now), with delivery, cost about $6.50 a bag ($325 a ton delivered).

Prices seem to vary a lot by where one is in the country, and this is not a favored area for pellet prices.

I got 2 1/2 ton's from my local TSC last august for $5.00 a bag. They burn ok. A little ashy and good temp. I was using them until the temps got below 40. Switched to my hammer hot-ones(SO far the best I've tried) and thurman's when it got cold.

I have 76 bags left saved to use when it warms up a again.
