I have the SBI one. I tested it's calibration (by standing it in a mason jar and putting it in my oven at 350) and seemed spot on! It works great for me!

what size is the hole 1/4 inch or 3/16? does it have a seal for the outer wall of the double wall pipe? thanks

I tried talking Condar into keeping their old style black dial face probe thermometer, but they didn't listen. Since then I have not bought another Condar probe. I have bought a couple SBI units and they worked fine. The Imperial looks like another clean design. I like it if it's accurate.

I bought the sbi. I don't need the pretty colors on the condar thermometer to be the focus of attention when everything else is flat black. Another petty issue, but it would annoy me.
