We built and tested this heater for barns, shops, and greenhouses, that need a lot of heat. It uses an 8" Dragon Heater Core with 5 55gallon barrels and 160 or so fire bricks. It averaged 90% combustion efficiency and chimney exit temperatures never exceeded 170F. So it did a great job of burning the wood efficiency and storing all the heat. There is a complete data log of the emissions and heat loss for 6 hours after the burn was done.
