From my previous post about the oak I am about to tackle. Here is some wood that is laying around the property where the oak is at. A lot of fun cutting it on a nice side hill lie... BTW I love using wedges for cutting now. Ash or Elm? I think it's Ash.

Ash, and there is a lot you can do with wedges..Fine looking 360!
 
Guessing ash myself . . . but the truth will come when you start splitting it. ;)
