A little off topic, but while your sitting with your backside to the pellet stove, think about looking out the livingroom window and seeing this display unfolding.
Last weekend we had torential rains here in NW Oregon.
I am about 30 miles (Line of site) from this awesome display of nature.

The Sandy River originates on the flanks of Mt Hood and this video was taken near the little community of Brightwood Oregon.
During this time, over 8 inches of rain had fallen high up on the Mountain in the ski areas and the huge amounts of water combined with the low level snow melt turned what is normally a fairly docile little mountain stream into a raging monster.
Just a little of what its like in Oregon at times.
