Interesting, is right, FFJ. 27 years with minimal human contact & no major health issues, or injuries, despite traveling at night. A modern day Robinson Crusoe, for sure.

I have been your end of the state as winter sets in and to think that this guy survived in the wild for that long is nutty. I don't think that campsite offerred much protection. Must have been some long, short days in January.

I thought it was interesting that he tried fishing, but gave up on it, it was too much work.

After thinking about it, it would bother me quite a bit to have a guy like this in the hood. Creeps me out, that somebody would be sneaking around my place at night.

Stories like this remind me of Noah John Rondeau, a hermit and an important part of Adirondack history. I think he did it right.

The guy in the story above is a lot more on the creepy side.

If he doesn't end up in jail, I'd offer him a free place to live, might cut down on the lowlifes that steal anything I try to leave at the place in Greenbush to save haulin' it back and forth every time I go up.
