    Question:

    What do people that use a coal stove as primary heat do with the ashes...I assume there is a lot (10x that of wood?)?How about a wood stove ashes?



    Answer:

    Coal stove ashes are great for dirt driveways and the like......Wood Stove ashes can be put in the garden or compost pile.
