As the title says...

Got a quote on a HI200 in black installed with blower for just north of $3K. Going to go put a deposit tomorrow

I know it won't heat the entire house but it should take a chunk out of the oil man's Christmas fund.

Any tips on what to watch for when the installers arrive? Self install is not an option with a 12/12 pitch roof with the chimney in the center of a 2 1/2 story colonial

Rebuilt the hearth and surround last year in anticipation - Can't have a good looking stove with an ugly surround

The pellet stove has been keeping the family room toasty on the other side of the house, now its time to stop wasting wood in the open fireplace!

Make sure they seal and insulate the damper area and the top of the chimney. That seems like a very low price..just use common sense when your watching them
