I am trying to replace my close clearance chimney adapter but am having trouble removing it from the wall thimble. I don't want to force it and cause damage to the wall thimble. It is a dvl to duraplus system. Any tricks out there?

It should rotate (counterclockwise I think) a short bit, then pull out.

Interesting. When I installed our CCA the instructions were to insert, then rotate into place. I've only removed the pipe once, but I reversed the procedure and it came right out. Sorry if this is mis-information.
