ROBAX logo on ceramic glass... how to remove?

    I recently installed a new monessen covington unit, which is great, but there is a black ROBAX logo right in the middle of the glass. If I scratch it lightly with a fingernail I can feel it's like some sort of powder coat/paint. Is this normal? How does this stuff come off? It doesn't wipe off with water.
