Shelburne baffle guard-is this in the right way?

I had someone over to sweep the chimney and stove, and in the process they pulled out the baffle guard, replacing it before they left. It looks like it's okay, but I also don't remember the two cutouts for the screws holding on the top being visible from the inside. Then again, I haven't spent a lot of time lying on the hearth looking up at the interior of the stove. Does this need to be reversed somehow?

I think you are correct. The parts diagram shows it in this position.
