Can anyone provide a ballpark estimate of value for an original Shipmate Skippy stove made by the Stamford Foundry Co. in Connecticut? Model 7-11 as pictured. Any other information would be appreciated: Year of production, numbers made, original use, etc. Thank you.

The product died, but tiny homes have an interest in it and it has been revived. If it is in good working condition, inside and out, I would estimate more toward $500 as a fair value. Is it set up to burn diesel or coal?

Here is a review of the new one.

Nice. There is a 1923 catalog on Ebay of Stamford Shipmate stoves, mostly much larger ship stoves. I have long been fascinated by small solid fuel stoves for boats but only brief experience with one.
