I don't know what caused it, but the single pane of door glass in my Jotul Castine F400 has a crack running from top to bottom. I know there are online glass sources, but can someone please tell me the measurements?

Once I have it, do I take it and the door to a glass shop to have it installed?

Does the crack pose any risk of I use the stove?

Bummer. The best way to measure is to remove the glass and either take the two pieces to a glass shop or make a template from them and order online. Not sure if the glass shop will install the new glass but worth asking. If the glass gasket is several years old it may also be worth replacing. Yes, the crack poses a risk, especially if it gets worse due to poorer clamping.
