Well, it looks like winter is almost overt and the sap has started. I can't figure out a simple way to use the OWB for making sap but I was looking at that wisp of smoke coming out of the P&M and wondered if it could be diverted to a rack full of pork. Neighbour wants to kill a pig next week and we will use my FEL to lower it into the barrel of scalding water, etc. (I'm a virgin at pigs but he grew up on a farm)
If I took a couple of sections of scafold I could build a smoke chamber at the back of the boiler and just open the chimney cleanout for a few days.
