You had perfect weather for that this weekend.
 
It was a great weekend to work in the woods. I took a nice Walnut home and turned it into a pile of splits, along with, unfortunately a Poplar. Pic is one of 2 loads of the Walnut logs, lined up for the trip home.

Are you sure that is walnut? The bark looks more like Red Oak from here.
 
No doubt is was American Walnut. End grain does not show in the pics well at all.
