I'm running a non cat VC Defiant. I've noticed that the stack temperature constantly shows that it's in the "creosote range," according to the thermometer I have on the stack. This was a concern with my old stove but I'm wondering with the reburn system in the Defiant, if it's not an issue with this stove.

Is your chimney single or double wall that your thermometer in mounted on? If its double wall is your thermometer a probe type or surface mount?
