    I can't believe you are procrastinating over one lousy cord. I bet you even had it delivered all bucked and split for you. Too bad you couldn't get them to put it in the stove for you too.

    I buck, split, and stack 12 cords that are dropped in my driveway! I also cut and haul a couple of cord from the bush. Many here process much more than that.

    i tell EVERY customer that buy's a load from me to stack it.

    if it's left on the ground as it falls from the truck,and left there for a year or so.....it's worse than green :gulp:

    ^ 99% of the time that's correct, but the ground is frozen and like he says...it'll be gone in less than a month.
