alright I finally received my undamaged replacement parts today and I’m going through a game plan so my install this weekend goes well.

The stove is a Jøtul Oslo and the pipe is double wall Selkirk.

I purchased the universal adapter because I figured I’d need it for the Oslo.

On the stove flue there’s two machine screws. The adapter has no holes for these screws and it seems if I simply tighten them to the adapter they would crimp the pipe.

I couldn’t find anything in the instructions regarding this adapter, but I’m assuming two holes will need to be drilled to fit this adapter to the stove?

That looks like a sloppy fit. Is this Selkirk DSP pipe? How does it fit without the adapter?

It is the DSP pipe and that is the adapter. It’s not a sloppy fit, I was holding it over the flue for demonstration purposes. This is the adapter that connects the stove to the DSP pipe.

It's ok to predrill the adapter to receive the flue collar screws. On our Castine I used black headed sheet metal screws.
