hi all, some questions i need help with. Just lined chimney w/ ss flex (+ kit). Stove is freestanding hearth stove (Jotul F3), rear vent. Some questions that aren't answered in the Jotul manual:
* does snout (horizontal piece of the T) attach DIRECTLY to stove collar, or do i need a short length of true stove pipe to join the two?
* do i need to use a sealant (furnace cement?) on every joint? (collar to pipe, pipe to snout, snout to endcap. etc....)

Thanks for any insight you can offer.
