Hi everyone! I recently bought a Quadrafire Castile Brown Porcelain Pellet insert without a thermostat. I was wondering if I need to by a genuine Quadra thermostat or can I use a normal heat only one from like amazon... Any info would be greatly appreciated!

You can use almost any thermostat that has a set of contacts that close when there is a call for heat.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what kind of wire to use? I read somewhere 18-22 gauge, is that right?
