    I am not running a wood stove. I have an insert. If I had a stove I would buy one. Also good for cooking a steak.

    I got my ir gun in the mail today and how cool not got to test it on a hot wood stove yet but been running around the house with it.

    How do you tell how accurate these are i tried a pot of boiling water the steam messed with it?

    Well it seems pretty accurate showing 440 on my stove side the stove top is still cooler.

    it also agree with my probe reading but the stove thermometers are higher reading.
