Wow!! Thats some oak tree!Wonder how many cords that made?
 
Back then they were more concerned with the number of board feet...the bottom tree (yellow poplar) produced over 12,000 board feet.
 
I know someone that can haul that thing in 3 loads with a Ford Ranger. Burntime, theres your cue.
 
Easy weekend job...for some.
 
But the question is, did they cover the wood or not? :coolsmirk:
