Thread #2 - Outdoor Stove

  • Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.

We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.

We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
Finally had some time to finish everything up, it’s really more of a cool fire pit at this point than it is a wood-burning stove. But I am thrilled with the result!

Welded some casters to the bottom so I can keep it out of the rain when not in use, added 15 inches to the 90 to keep smoke and embers further away from everything, and added a spark arrestor inside the end as well!
