Trying to trouble-shoot an issue for my neighbor who owns a Timberwolf TPS35 Pellet Stove
which is not lighting.

Background.....
Neighbor dropped a screw into the pellet bin, don't ask me how? May have been from the bin lid hinge?

Anyway, it caused the auger to jam and stop, untimately destoying the auger motor. Fried !
Long story short... new auger was ordered, and I installed for neighbor.

Stove was started, and auger is dropping pellets into the burn pot OK, no problems there.
However, the igniter is not glowing at all, consequently not firing the pellets.
Before the original jam as described above, the igniter was working properly w/o issues.

Anyone have any idea what's going on here, and how to resolve?

Thanks,
Gopher69

Look for blown fuse, and/or a pinched wire for the ignitor. You may have disturbed the wiring while replacing the motor, or accidentally pinched an ignitor wire.

Might look in the owners manual to see if there are directions for restating the stove to factory settings. Some stove you can just unplug for a while and that will reset them others are more involved. It should tell you in the manual how to do it if possible. Hopefully the fried augar motor didn't do anything to the control box.

Now a new problemj is occuring...... Stove will not come on at all?
Checked fuses (2) both OK. All wires to control panel are OK. No lights to control panel at all ?
Almost seems like control panel is not getting power?

Owner's manual is useless in trouble-shooting, and have sent emails to Timberwolf Custome Service w/o any response !

Thoughts apprecaited !

Thanks,

Make sure you have power to the outlet by trying another item in that very outlet. A visual check of the fuses is not enough - have you used a meter to check the fuses?
