I have a Englander Add on unit model 28-3500. This morning, a heavy piece of wood I had on top my basement wood pile decided to fall and crack the glass on the furnace. I'm sure it will be a day or two before I can get it replaced. Is it time to go in shut down mode, or can I use it till I can get it replaced "hopefully" tomorrow?

Wait until you get new glass. I'm sure your hearth dealer where you bought the furnace has the glass in stock.
