I installed the convection fan upgrade on my 5660 and now it is nice and quiet. They sent me the new one under warranty coverage at no charge. Now I have a spare! The new one is the open frame shaded pole shown installed, and the old one is the can type sitting on the table.

Hello Pellit

Good work, that blower should last a long time now! I did that too on my 5660. The new blower is nice. I also cut a blower gasket out of Hi Temp (525 Deg F) Silicone 1/8" gasket material from Amazon. It is reusable and helps cushion the vibration more than the original Lytherm gasket

See rubber gasket pics I made for the 5660 here.
Can't use the Plumbers Rubber Gasket material at Lowe's. I tried it and not high temp enough!

Also the Hi Limit switches in those stoves are too low and can become faulty! (200 Deg F trip Limit!)
So I replaced mine with a 250 Deg F like the HR Sarnac stove has. (Same shell and BTUs as the 5660!)
See pics and detail here.

The control panel on those stoves only have Auto-Hi/Low with a T-Stat.
There is an upgrade panel so you can have Auto-On/Off for the shoulder seasons AND Auto-Hi/Low for the winter using a nice slide switch.

Good luck. It really is a good stove and bangs out the heat!
