What is the performance difference between the Intrepid vs. the Encore. If it is a massive difference than a blower may not be needed.

At least two of the three.

The Vigilant is a great stove, but chews through wood, has a short burn time for the amount of wood I'm shoving in there, and it is a bit dirty. I have never been happy with the performance of the Intrepid and the largest stove that will fit in that fireplace is an Encore.
