Quick question once a vent pipe connection (Selkirk) has been seal with RVT silicone can it be separated? It was installed in September.

Depends on how much silicone was used. If it was just enough to seal it up then a good twist should free it. If someone went overkill on it you will never get it apart.

if ya cant get em untwisted , get a couple "strap type" oil filter wrenches, works quite well as you get more leverage. put one on each side of the joint and twist.

Thanks for the advice, when I get a chance I will give it try.
