Feeling the Heat

It's not the dead of winter yet, but I wanted to say I'm pleased with my new stove. I turned off the furnace yesterday and cycled fires from yesterday morning through this morning. Overnight temps have been low 30s and during the day it's been about 50. I've had no trouble keeping the house warm (low 70s on first floor and mid seventies upstairs) and I can easily pack the stove at night and wake up to a hot bed of coals.

It's going to be nice winter!

That's good to hear John. Good luck to you this winter. If not already, you should be getting some winter weather very soon.
