We were watching food network one night and there was a waffle-throwdown with Bobby Flay. Wow did we get hungry.

We like crispy waffles with fresh blueberries and strawberries and whipped cream.

I made blueberry pancakes this morning

I've got a sis-in-law who uses pecans in the mix. Those are pretty good.
I like mine with strawberries and whipped cream or just butter and syrup. Mmmmm, gooder .

I am almost embarrassed to say that I enjoy strawberry eggos... :red:

I have a waffle maker but rarely use it. The homemade ones do rock though with chocolate chips and tons o whipped cream... %-P

Just plain waffles topped with pure maple syrup. Fantastic! Well, occasionally I do like them topped with fresh strawberries.

My wife gave me a big restaurant grade Belgian waffle maker for Christmas last year. I love that thing!

Unfortunately, it was about that time that I made a commitment to myself to lose about 55 pounds, so i haven't used it much.

I've got 10 pounds left until I reach my goal. I will cellebrate by letting myself make waffles every once in a while. I need to find a good recipe for whole grain waffles.

Waffles with homemade raspberry or strawberry syrup are delicious. We had them last Sunday. Today is french toast day, yum.

Peanut butter on one, strawberry jam on the other, pressed together for a breakfast sandwich.

Both of my daughters (now in their 20s) LOVED
    those Eggo-type pop-em-in-the-toaster waffles
when they were still in their highchairs...
Every time I hear the word WAFFLES all I can
hear is their little girl voices hollerin,
    "BAH POOZ! BAH POOZ!"
