What am I doing wrong with avatar

    I've read the stickies for photos here, but can't upload my avatar. It says it's in the wrong format - but it is jpeg which should work. So since we're in the photo gallery anyway, here is a photo of my new Regency R90 fireplace. I seem to be able to upload this photo - but can't get the same photo in avatar form uploaded. I should have it small enough - about 5kb.

    Try this - it must be 72DPI and less than 110 pixels in each direction.

    That's one of the prettiest fireplaces I've seen on this forum. Nice dog too.

    Holy Smoke! It worked!! Thank you so much. Thanks for the compliments - I love my dogs, I love my fireplace. Wasted so many years with a prefab conventional. This morning the house was still 80 degrees and it was either open the windows or turn on the a/c - I opened the windows. However it isn't extremely cold yet - we have colder temps to come, but the Regency will be up to the task I'm sure.

    Congrats....that's a beautiful hearth and a great fireplace to match.Good luck getting that ole black lab to move from that spot!.
