Its kind of off topic here, but those are some nice sized chestnut oaks. Dont know whats killing mine. I find them laying on the ground and standing dead. Sadly.
But dont know what they have to do with Red Oak.
Post a few pics of some leaves off a dying tree - oak wilt is a disease that spreads through the intertwined root systems, cutting the dead ones down doesn't stop it
