Wanting some information on this wood stove I received free from a fella on Craigslist, he was asking 50$ US, and I told him I couldn't afford due to personal matter and he just gave it to me. I'm going to use in my canvas hunting tent during elk season on the deep north. Any info would be great please. Only markings are a 5 pointed star on the legs.

I don't know what it is but I bet it will work well for heating a tent.

Looks like a variant of the first stove I had, an Ashley Columbian. The air intake however looks missing with a bogus homemade substitute.

The one pic looks like a toilet with a fire in the bowl. Must've had chili for dinner.

HehHeh . . . I was thinking the exact same thing!

I had the Ashley in a totally uninsulated (and leaky) cabin in New England. In the winter I would wake up in the middle of the night and make sure the sides were still glowing. If not, time to add more wood.
