I was reading my "Lennox Hearth Winslow PS40 Stove" instruction manual about cleaning the burn pot and saw a footnote that said "Burning fuel with high ash content or an improperly adjusted damper mat require more frequent cleaning and stove maintenance"

There is a draft adjuster for the combustion motor. Is this what the manual is referring to as a damper?
