I have a Whitfield Optima 3 INS , My problem is that when it is running For a day or so there seems to be chunks of semi burned pellets at the bottom of the grate, Which over time prevent the ash from falling thru to the pan,
Should I adjust the auger mode or the blower control ? Any and Thoughts would be helpful

most of the time it is poor quality pellet
some times it is due to to much air will cause hard clinkers

and to little air will cause Soft build up because not enough action in the burn pot to keep it clear.

Someone posted a link to a video that showed how a fire will look at the best air setting
but what you want to see is the pellets dancing around but not popping out of the pot
Sparks are ok but whole pellets no
