Does anyone have any tips on removing a stuck igniter ? I can see that is is also a bit warped.
It appears that the threads are messed up on it. It will come out approx 3/4 of threads, then just turns and turns.

Ouch, the dreaded crossthreaded igniter. Get a break bar with a 12" extension and put that on the igniter "nut". Then get a 1/4" driver bit and slide it into the igniter tube in the firebox, take a pry bar and exert pressure on the igniter by prying against the 1/4" driver. This will allow that thing to come out eventually. Mind you I spent four hours with anohter guy on one that was badly cross threaded from the factory.
