Yes every time I swap stoves I give it about 5 years. This one was a loaner so I didn't know how long I would have it. Again I like the stove most of the time but I definitely burn more oil with it. And am not saving any wood. But the heat output is more even and it is absolutely nicer in milder temps. There are tradeoffs with any stove. The princess is far better at low output than anything else I have used without question. But would I personally buy a new bk? NoIt has been what three seasons since you swapped the two stoves.
