My buddy and I scored 2 + cords of nice ash today. A nice older lady had a tree cut down in her yard with a diameter of 30+ inches and a main trunk diameter or 40' before the first knot as well as a bunch of larger limbs. It was already down and bucked all we had to do was haul it away. A few ripping chains, a couple sledges and wedges, and a strong back to split it into manageable 1/4s and now it is in the woodpile for next year.
