    hello, was wondering if any one has a pto pump driven wood spliter? i hooked mine up today and could not get it ti work.do the seals in the pto pump dry out? thanks for any help. patrick

    First make sure the pump is turning in the right direction.
    Make sure the RPM's are where they should be.
    I used a pump off of a dump truck and the RPM's where OK.
    If you are using a two stage pump the speed will need to be much faster.

    This sounds dumb but make sure you have enough hydro fluid in the system. And to check if it's pumping crack a line on your cylinder.
