Hi,

I have a Harman XXV. I'm confused by the automatic vs. manual ignition and when to use it. Can anyone explain it to me? Right now I'm using automatic ignition and I feel like I'm going through a lot of bags. Should I switch to manual?

Thanks.

When the stove is running and you have it in ROOM temp, you can switch to MANUAL and the stove will not shut down when temp. is reached. It will just go to minimum burn. Don't know which is more efficient on pellet use, it may use less this way, either way it is a lot easier on your igniter.
