The endswitch on one of my honeywell zone valves model v8043f1036 is not starting my circulator. The valve is opening and closing fine when I turn up and down my thermostat. Any ideas ? how hard is it to change the heads ?? Is there any way that I can jump onto one of my other zone valves to start the circ up with-out opening the valve along with it ?

    Thanks,

    Brian

Can you tell me how you have wired it up. Check the end switch wires with a continuity tester. You should have no continuity when the stat is turned down and when the stat is turned up you should have continuity. The end switch has no power, it's only a switch.

Those switches do fail - it's happened to me before. It's actually a standard microswitch and can be replaced if you can find a source.
