After running though a number of these size selectors and Hammermills, the raw material is now dry and fairly consistent. This preproduction feedstock is now ready to be moved to one of a number of large storage silos. New England Pellet Co. produces Premium grade pellets, and to do so require careful monitoring and mixing of various wood blends. The company keeps careful track of what type of wood is in each silo and can therefore control the mix that is sent to the Pelletizing machines.
