Shenandoah was a popular brand of wood and coal heaters - bare bones, but very functional - which was originally made in Harrisonburg, VA.
They also made some Central Heating furnaces.
Among the models are the R65 and R77.
These heaters used a Bimetal thermostat to control the combustion air. Most models were radiant heaters, although they did make some convection models which had sheet metal cabinets around the basic units.
