    Why is firewood so expensive?

    I got quoted for $80 per face cord. $960 for four full cords. Im trying to rationalize it and would appreciate clarification. Our guy has a firewood processor more than likely paid off. He sits in a seat as he cuts the tree, plops it in the processor, and the machine cuts and splits the wood...
