Looking at some of the newer Harman stoves, I noticed they don't have the steel plates covering the heat exchangers in the back of the stove. I was wondering if anyone has ever ran the stove or is it possible to run the stove without the plates in place. Seems it would create more heat without the exchangers being blocked. What was the design change that makes it possible to run the stove with the heat exchangers being exposed? Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
