10-CPM Thermostat Install

Anyone have instructions on how to install a thermostat on a 2007 10-CPM? I ordered the unit from England Stoves.... but there don’t seem to be any instructions included.....

If its the same control board that the rest of the stoves Englander makes, there should be a 2 position terminal strip at the bottom that has a jumper wire in it. Remove the jumper and put your thermostat wires there.

Your thermostat should have come with directions. Mine is a honeywell and the wires are on red and white

Wow can you post a pic of the tstat connection choices?

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the stove itself. It should be R and W on the thermostat.

So i installed the honeywell thermostat (PU-DTSAT from Englander) per the instructions on their site. which called for the wires on the G and W terminals:

I ran the test included as well. The dash appeared when the thermostat called for heat and disappeared when it wasn't calling for heat. I also set the stove to run in Hi/Lo instead of On/Off. I fired the stove up and the thermostat doesn't seem to be having any effect. Room temp is 72 and the thermostat is set for 70. The stove is still running at 5-9 after about 20 minutes. Any ideas?

selector switch set to elec/heat pump? Fan on? system set to heat? instruction sheet reads tstat puts stove into idle mode (control board does not indicate change) which mean the heat range wont change when the tstat is controlling it

Just double checked the switches and they are correct. I do t think it ever went in to idle mode..... the flame still looked like it was set on 5-9 not 1-9. Also the room kept getting hotter which it definitely would not have done if it were set to 1-9.

I would call englander customer service and see if they rectify your issue. I have never used their tstat

So quick update..... it appears as though the thermostat actually is working. The numbers shown on the side display of the stove never change but the size of the flame certainly does. I did notice that I have to set the stat connected to the stove 4 degrees higher. Generally I’d keep the room with the stove at 74 (per my central AC stat) and that would keep the rest of the house warm also. To get the same results with the stove stat I have to set it at 78.
