I purchased 10 tons from Wal-Mart...Pennington's...$230/ton...used my bosses Mack and step deck flat bed Pics to follow....(forum rules dictate....) feeling kinda ...good...just filled my oil tanks. ..322 galons @ 305/ gallon. so I'm ready for winter. I like this brand of pellet.....works well with both my bulk feeder (something green Supremes didn't last year) and they seem to light well too as well...

forks for backhoe....crazy day....Wal-Mart fork truck operator got stuck 2 times and I had to pull him out...valve on trailer crapped out and I had to cage all 4 brakes...there has to be an easier way!!!
 
What are they for pellets? All they have up here are MWP mix. Every Walmart up here has a wall of them out front. Great price too I wish I could burn them
 
Heck of a front end loader if it handles 2,000 pounds on bucket forks.
 
I have 2 tons of the MWP and besides being ashy they burn good and give good heat. I did get less ash with the Pennington's though.
 
Pennington Natures Own were considered the bottom of the heat chain, I burned them for year's until I joined this sie and knew better, Glad you likeum!
Last night i was at Walmart and was going to try a bag, loose bag's all had some kind of hole, pulled out at least a 2" long pellet....No Thanks!

Yes it is a big machine....I purchased it new in 1992...MF 60 hx 4 wheel drive with an extendable boom. as for my pellet choice...that starts with the stove you choose. lesser stoves have to burn high quality pellets....Harmans...not so much.. When shopping for pellets I am 100% dollar driven...
Since my pellet burner is a boiler I cannot feel any difference in heat output, but anybody who has to try a brand before " stocking up" should conceder a different brand of stove....the savings on pellets will add up quickly as well as the time you save by not having to shop....just saying

I love the boiler...it will hold 210 lbs of pellets( correct me if Im wrong)....enough for well over 24 hours in the coldest weather. I happen to have room for the 1500 lb hopper BUT I had to install wheels so I can move it if necessary....also it will work with less height then it says it requires....I love it too
 
Thats the way to do it!

I pick mine up with a 9ton Tag trailer and unload them with the Cat (226b)
