I was wondering how much better the 13 is vs the 12. Wood consumtion heating ect?

We went from the 12 to the 13 last year. The difference between the two is amazing.
More heat with less wood and a more efficient burn.
I would definitely recommend the 13.

How about burn times what do you get with the 13?

Define "burn time" please.

how long of a burn you get with out using a match to restart. I get 4 out of the 12

I can get 7-8 with good hard wood but thats maximum 6 is closer for me.

Our average burn time was about 7 hours, sometimes more or less depending on type of wood and other variables.
I used to load that mother right up...it even amazed my husband how much wood I stuffed in that thing!
We had a key damper installed but did not utilize it.
It is a great lil stove. We only upgraded because we wanted more heat and less frequent loading.
