2008 tax credit

My taxman says there is no credit for 2008. Does anybody know differently for a tax credit for a pellet stove bought in 2008?

No Federal tax credit for 2008 but hold your receipts. Something may give in the new 2009 tax package to make a few items retro
 
something may give you higher taxes, but a tax cut? do you realy belive that?
