Have any of you guys ever used Green Tree Premium Pellets? Lowes is carrying them but they are expensive!!!!! 288 per ton? Are they worth the extra money? I bought one bag just to try it out could not resist it :)

Just type green team pellets into the search box above.

I would not spend $288. a ton. Personally I would not spend on any thing more than $250.00 a ton.

Most here are from the New England are. Prices are regional. $250 is a lot in NE. But pelletkid looks to be from cali? And I don't think green team is sent out there. He's asking about green tree.

These are not green team pellets they are green tree here is a link to there web site.

I dumped in the bag i bought and its about half burnt. They have a LOT of ash! Also amount of fines is high. I will not be buying them. Has any one else had the same experience with them?

Doesn't sound like they are worth the $288/ton. What else do you have in the area? and list the prices. Maybe a member has burned the other brands and can assist?

Golden fire (broken link removed to http://www.bmfp.com/goldenfirepellets.html) is what i have been burning at 224 per ton. I have not tried any other brand but them. They seem to burn clean for me but i have never tried anything else until these Green Trees.

Stick to what works, And nice they are cheaper. We all like to have fun trying them. But hopefully you only bought a few bags of the green tree?

I can also buy Lignetics Premium pellets for 198 per ton. Have any of you tried them out? (broken link removed to http://www.lignetics.com/wood-pellets.html)
